Twin Oaks Real Estate
The community of Twin Oaks is located in the heart of Rocklin, adjacent to Roseville and minutes from the historic rural towns of Loomis and Lincoln. While it overlaps and juxtaposes with the communities of Whitney Ranch, Sunset Whitney and Whitney Oaks, its eponymous park and school make it an ideal neighborhood for families.
There are a number of nearby parks, but Twin Oaks Community Park offers a bevy of activities for the neighborhood, with baseball fields, picnic tables, pathways for running, tennis courts, and a playground. The fall colors in the park are nothing short of spectacular and helps make the neighborhood feel like home. The nearby highly rated Twin Oaks Elementary School is also one of the main focal points of the community.
The City of Rocklin offers an array of events and activities for residents of all ages, but one of the most popular is the Kids Junction and Club Rocklin, a before and after-school program operating on all Rocklin Elementary School Campuses. The program is available to children enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade and includes arts and crafts, sports, games, cooking, and science activities.
Nearly a dozen golf courses and driving ranges can be found within the Rocklin-Roseville-Granite Bay area, but Twin Oaks’ proximity to the mountains and many recreational areas is what makes it so appealing. Twin Oaks is just over an hour from Truckee, where endless skiing and hiking excursions await. Between here and there though, lie a trove of rivers, campgrounds, and lakes waiting to be explored.
For less outdoorsy residents, there’s laser tag, mini-golf, batting cages, indoor go-karts, Skyzone, and Bounce U. Roseville is also home to some of the region’s finest shopping. The Westfield Galleria and Fountains Shopping Center house everything from Apple and Tiffany to Sur La Table and Whole Foods. All the larger stores (Macy’s, REI, Costco) are within mere minutes of Roseville’s main shopping area.
Twin Oaks is not without its own commercial merits and conveniences - fitness centers, coffee shops, and restaurants abound and the Blue Oaks Marketplace is home to a 16-screen theatre, as well as a weekly Saturday farmers’ market from June through November.
